Sports Illustrated is an American sports magazine. It was founded in August 1954 by Henry Luce. The magazine is published on a bi-weekly basis. There are over 3 million subscribers, with over 20 million people reading the magazine each week. It is no surprise that over 18 million readers are men. The current Editorial Director is Chris Stone. The Publisher is Danny Lee. Sports Illustrated is owned by Meredith Corporation. It is based in New York City, New York. Currently, there is only an English version of the magazine. Sports Illustrated has won the National Magazine Award for General Excellence twice.
Some regular segments included in Sports Illustrated in Who’s Hot, Who’s Not, Inside the NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, College Football, College Basketball, NASCAR, Golf, Boxing, Horse Racing, Soccer, and Tennis, along with Faces in the Crowd, The Point After, and Inside Baseball.
