DirecTV Now, sometimes written as Directvnow or DTV now, is a non-contract live streaming service offered by AT&T under its DirecTV brand. This service was launched in November 2016. Streaming does not count against data allowances for AT&T cellular customers or T-Mobile users with the “Binge On” add-on feature. As of July 2018 the service had 1.8 million subscribers. A cloud-based DVR add-on was announced for the service in July 2017. Applications for using the service are available for customers via Amazon Fire TV and Amazon Firestick devices, Apple TV, Roku devices, Chromecast, mobile devices on both Android and iOS operating systems, and both Google Chrome and Safari web browsers. Plans for the service come with a 7-day free trial offer which automatically renews as a paid plan if not cancelled before the end of the trial. DirecTV Now comes as one of 5 different plan options with various add-ons available. The “Live a little” plan is billed at $40.00/month and includes 65 channels including local networks, CNN, Disney, and ESPN among its offerings. The “Just right” plan bills at $55.00 per month, which includes all of the previous tier’s channels along with the Travel channel, OWN, and Game Show network among its offerings. The “Go Big” plan costs $65.00 per month and includes both the previous tiers’ channels plus the Golf channel, Sundance tv and others among its offerings. The “Gotta have it” plan is $75.00 per month and in addition to the previous tiers it includes the El Rey network and Starz/Encore among its offerings. Finally, the “todo y mas” plan is $45.00 a month and is the service’s Spanish and English language combination option. All plans are billed plus tax monthly with the option to add premium movie channels for between $5.00-$8.00 per month. The option to add a third simultaneous stream (from the original two streams simultaneously) is $5.00/month and a cloud-based DVR space is included with any of the plans. Follow these steps:

1. Goto https://www.directvnow.com/
2. Log in to your account using your Email Address and Password
3. Click on the head icon in the upper right corner
4. Select user account from the menu
5. Click on manage my account
6. Click on cancel account
7. Follow the on-screen prompts carefully to ensure you cancel your account
8. You will have access to your subscription until the end of your current billing cycle

Follow these steps:

2. Scroll up to locate “Chat Available”
3. Note that if Chat is not available, there will be no option shown. It’s best to look for this option during the day in the United States.
4. Click on “Chat Available”
5. Ask the representative to cancel your account
6. Provide your account information when requested
7. Ask the representative for a refund
8. Ask the representative if you will be charged again
